Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and refine product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and actionable user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Project Execution
- Manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery.
- Partner with engineering teams to align on technical feasibility and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communicate product progress, challenges, and milestones to all relevant parties.
- Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive gaps, and industry trends.
- Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and guide decisions.
- Technical Expertise
- Develop a deep understanding of the technical architecture and guide decisions based on technical feasibility.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts during product rollout and post-launch.
- Work with a suite of tools commonly used in technical product management, including but not limited to Jira (project management), Confluence (documentation), Figma (design collaboration), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, or Mixpanel).
- Ensure effective utilization of these tools to streamline workflows, gather insights, and facilitate team communication.
- Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally in a technical environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing technical products or projects.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills and Tools
- Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Technical Acumen
- Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, or cloud technologies is a plus.
